Although the temperatures still feel like summer, we can sense Fall approaching. A little wind, less humidity and a reprieve from the harshness of the summer light. If you are like me, I want it to be warm all year long and have the children home. I just want all of this to happen in the Fall.
This was perhaps a quote from Dom Perignon but even if it was not, I have the same feeling when I taste something that takes me to France in my mind. A sip of Rose or a perfectly flaky butter croissant bring a nostalgic smile. The same thing happens when I see a home designed or outfit with the je ne sais qoui style the French exhibit naturally.

A day out in Richmond, Virginia started off at Crème de la Crème Carytown with the enthusiastic manager, Joe Price, who welcomed us and showed us around the store. The store is beautifully curated with unique items, perfect for setting a table or just adding a touch of fun to your home.
...I love prints! Not just any prints but the prints of Souleiado. They left a deep impression on me from the first time I saw them. I love their colors, the way the patterns work together, the coordinating borders and their iconic connection to the South of France. Ironcially the first time I saw them was not in France but the South where I grew up. “French Country” held a place in my mother’s heart as well as her keen eye for style and design. Souleiado was the exclusive supplier of fabrics to the well known brand in 1980’s, Pierre Deux.
